China Lockdowns Will Wreak Havoc on Computer Hardware Purchases

Organizations trying to keep fresh computer hardware in front of their staff know all too well that supply chain woes have drastically slowed delivery over the past year or more.  Serious delays have made it extremely difficult to budget and plan for IT hardware procurement.

The recent revelation that China has all but completely locked down several key industrial cities, including Shanghai, likely means that last year's hardware slowdowns will seem like child's play compared to what is coming.

In this video Tony Valle shares a relatively simple response to this seemingly insurmountable problem.  It turns out that "cloud computing," which is a modern response to cyber attacks such as ransomeware, happens to provide a very elegant answer to the coming massive shortage of new computer devices.
